April 2019: seasonal creeks of ukiah
This is an ink drawing (sepia and black pens, black ink wash) done from a collage of several of my own reference photos. It measures 14” x 11” and the scale and complexity are far beyond any drawing I’ve ever done.
March 2019: distorted grid
This is a playful exercise in gridding from a reference photo but purposely distorting the grid you draw into. It’s a combination of intense, focused work and delightful results. Graphite on paper.
